Valaistus

Tänään suuntasin ennen salia maailman ihanimpaan Akateemiseen etsimään miesten muotilehtiä. En koskaan päässyt salille asti - sairauden/allergioiden vuoksi - mutta mukaan lähti muutaman päivän ruokarahan arvosta lehtiä. Olen huomannut miehillä olevan kaksi poseerausta: 1. Nojaus toiselle puolelle ja 2. makaaminen maassa. Joskus nojataan ehkä seinää vasten. Tai sitten olen vain löytänyt maailman eriskummallisimmat lehdet. En lue miesten lehtiä vain ja ainoastaan silmäruoan vuoksi (....) vaan projektin, jonka toteutan kesällä. Haluan syventyä projektiini kunnolla - siksi lehtien osto. Aivan kuin en olisi koskaan nähnyt miehiä kuvissa ;) Mutta ennen tätä keskityn ottamaan kuvia itsestäni sekä tutkimaan valoa!

Today before gym I went to the coolest bookstore in Helsinki to find some mens magazines. No, not just for the purpose of eye candy, but to study how photographers make men pose. I've now come to two conclusions: 1. Men lean to the other side or 2. lie on the ground. Sometimes they lean on the wall. Women, in the other hand, pose in the most peculiar poses and you constantly have to find a new weird pose to twist yourself into! This - or I just found the most tedious magazines on earth. Anyhow, I'm doing this for a project I'll be doing this summer. But for now, I'll focus on taking photos of me (since models just don't come to you everyday), and continue with my little studies on light. Needless to add, I never made it to the gym. Feeling a bit sick, but I'm hoping it's just the allergies!
